Welcome to the David Schlangen campaign website for the Camarillo City Council District #5, where we strive to create positive change and impact. As a life-long resident of Camarillo, I thank you very much for your interest in my campaign for election to the Camarillo City Council District #5.  My mission is to address critical issues and drive meaningful progress in our community. Join me in making a difference to shape our city for a better future for all.

My goals:

  • Public Safety – optimizing Police Department budget to protect all citizens of Camarillo

  • To be fiscally prudent through a balanced budget and measured growth

  • Attracting more businesses and high paying jobs to Camarillo

  • Continue to oppose a commercial airport in Camarillo
